Hello Val is here! I wanna show you what I did in my today's development session! Hope you are ready! Today, I worked on some suggestions I received for our game project! Our demo is practically ready. However, there are still aspects of the game that don't quite sit right with me. We have been working on this project for about four months now and for the first time in our lives, we’ve managed to make what could be considered significant progress! Of course, I can't say I'm fully satisfied yet! We can always do even better. I have a plan to submit this demo to an upcoming game jam program! Last year, they rejected us but hopefully we can make it this time! I had a friend who try out the game recently, and one of the key pieces of feedback was that; it was quite difficult for someone who had never played this genre before. My goal was to minimize this issue as much as possible! But I'm kinda bad when it comes to game design so it was hard to understand where did I go wrong. So later, I just sat down and decorated the game!
Today, I had to fix a really tough "loading screen" bug in the game. I just couldn't figure out where the problem lay; no matter what I did, I couldn't transition to the next level. But I managed to conquer this terrible bug!! So yeah, I defeated that! Also since my friend told me it's a little bit hard to understand what each key is doing, I added texts to tell people what it does. I know, it's kinda boring. I couldn't think of anything more creative for now... I also filled the entire first level with clouds!
I Still Need To Create A Better Background For This Scene But Hey I Loved These Clouds!
After! Now We Have An Elevator And Cute Little Lake! (hmm...maybe It Got Too Crowded?)
